Yaaaay it’s 3AM…I finished classes today and I have exams for the next 3 weeks. Thus…total hiatus until then. I already blocked Facebook and Tumblr, and a whole bunch of other websites. Blocking wordpress too. Wish me luck!

~~got so hooked on this song…I don’t like Far East Movement that much, just one or two songs, but I tried this out because I saw Koda Kumi being featured, so I was intrigued…it’s so good! Ya, lyrics aren’t great, it’s a pretty typical clubbing track, but I can’t help it! I love it! And Koda Kumi just made it even more awesome!!! The beat totally pulled me in. Then the verse with ‘I wanna turn you up, make you feel that bass…’ got me hooked.

I’m weirdly hooked on the song. Especially that one line ‘hajima hajima mamamamamamama kajima kajima mamamamamamamaa’ (can’t remember how many ‘mama’s there are so wtv LOL) I never really paid attention to these girls either. ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ was ok but never caught my attention. Then comes along this catchy song with its overly cutesy MV. I can’t get it out of my head. XD

Hangeul + Romanized + Translated Lyrics to DBSK (HoMin)’s ‘Before U Go’ + MV

Holy CRAP this song is freaking amazing. SO. GOOD. To be honest I never really got into either DBSK (HoMin)’s album nor JYJ’s mini album. But this.  This is really good. The genre is RnB and it’s similar to the style of SM The Ballad’s ‘Hot Times’, which I adored.

As for the MV itself, it’s nice to see a MV with a storyline from SME! Changmin and Yunho are pretty badass in it. I don’t really see the point of having Go Ara in the MV tbh XD Choi Jong Yoon is the other guy in the MV. Apparently he’s in Paradise Ranch, so he acted with Changmin, and well obviously Go Ara acted with Yunho.

I’m not urging my friend Chris to watch the MV and listen to the song kakakaa =P lyrics under the cut.

Hangeul + Romanized Lyrics to Na Yoon Kwon’s ‘She Will Dance’ from Midas OST

I’ve been watching the drama Midas starring Jang Hyuk and Lee Min Jung (and of course Noh Min Woo, who’s freaking smexy =P) There’s one particular song that really caught my attention. It’s a gorgeous ballad sung by Na Yoon Kwon. I’ve always really liked his voice, because it’s really smooth and clean. He’s so underrated! He also sings with so much emotion, and his songs are so good! The first release I’ve heard from him was ‘사랑이 싫어요 (sarangi shireoyeo)’, I was extremely hooked on that. Another song from him I was completely addicted to was his duet with Byul (who I also love) ‘Open the Window’.

His vocals sound great here, crystal clear and overall just really matches the melody. The melody and background music is amazing as well. The combination of guitar, drums, and piano is nice.

To put my thoughts on the mini album; it’s not bad. ‘Tonight’ is positively addicting, that is true, but mmm I don’t know, the rest of the album lacks something. Their old stuff that made me completely fall in love with them is not really prominent in this mini album. It took me a couple of listens to get into ‘Tonight’, while with ‘Lies’, ‘Forever with You’, ‘Day by Day’ etc., it only took one listen for me to completely get hooked. I think a lot of older VIPs have also the same opinion as I do. Their old stuff was better. It’s not a bad thing  that Big Bang is evolving in their music and testing out the waters, but this wasn’t as much of a hit to me as their past stuff. If this album was any other group’s, I would probably approve of it more. But because it’s Big Bang and I’m used to such amazing music from them, it just doesn’t quite hit the mark.
